Cloud Atlas (2012)

Cloud Atlas is a 2012, is an American epic drama in the genre of science fiction anthology film. The film is written, directed and produced by Lana Wachowski, Andy Wachowski and Tom Tykwer respectively. The film is adapted from the 2004 novel by David Mitchell. The film features multiple plots set across six different eras. The movie stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving in lead roles and others in the supporting cast.

                 

Cloud Atlas explores the actions and concerns of individual lives, which impact one and another through the past, present and future. Action, romance and mystery lace intensely through the story as a soul is molded from a killer to a hero, as a single act of sympathy ripples through centuries to stir a revolution in the future. Every fellow of the group appear in numerous roles as the story move through time. An exploration of these actions of the individual lives impact one and another in past, present and the future, as one soul is molded from a killer into a hero, and the act of kindness travels across times and inspires a revolution.

                           

The film was one of the high budgeted films of all time and premiered at the 37th Toronto Film Festival. Cloud Atlas got a lot of critical acclaim. The movies grossed millions and also go a lot of awards.
