The Impossible (2012)

The Impossible is an English-language Spanish film. The Spanish version of the film is known as Lo Impossible. Juan Antonio directs the film based on the story of Segio G. Sánchez. Álvaro Augustin Enrique LópezLavigne and Belen Atienza produced the movie. Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor play the leading role of the film. Apart from these two, Geraldine Chaplin, Marta Etura, Samuel Joslin, SönkeMöhring, Tom Holland, Oakley Pendergast and many others serve the purpose of playing the assisting role.

                     

This movie displays the story of MaríaBelón and her family during the tsunami of Indian Ocean took place 2004. Naomi Watts play the lively role of MaríaBelón successfully and mesmerize the audiences. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama, the Academy Award for Best Actress. She was also nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.

                       

Renowned cinematographer Óscar Faura handled the camera for the film whereas it was edited by Elena Ruiz and Bernat Vilaplana. Fernando Velázquez composed the music of The Impossible. Warner Bros of Spain and Summit Entertainment of the United States distributed the film which earned almost revenue of $198,087,212.
