Two Rabbits (2012)

Two Rabbits or 2 Coelhos is 2012 Brazilian action film directed by Alfonso Poyart. The film stars Fernando Alves Pinto, CacoCiocler, Mart Descartes, Roberto Marchese and DjairGuiherme in lead roles. The film features a lot of innovations that aren’t common in Brazilian films, including blasts, animations, extravagant special effects and other pop culture orientations..

In the film, we see Edgar as a young upper-middle class man; he lives a life of crisis and in a position shared by the vast bulk of Brazilians. On one side, there is power, represented by the corrupt abusive state, and absent with their taxes before their compulsions. On the other, increasingly organized crime becomes a constant in lives of the citizens of large cities. Edgar reacts to these as a contemporary vigilante. With the help of technology, information and manipulations, Edgar devises a brilliant plan, with the greed of the foes as the prime reason for their destruction. As the story unfolds, we come to know more of the dark past of each person as Edgar fits the pieces together of an intriguing mystery that makes the film's plot.

The film with a great script and an unexpected ending was hailed highly by critics and went on to make quite an impact on the Brazilian film fraternity.
