The Other Son is a poignant and provocative story of two young men, an Israeli and the other a Palestinian, who discovers that they got accidentally switched at birth, and their complex consequences facing them and their respective families. An investigation is led by the hospital he was born due to a bombing attack that occurred on the night he was born and switching of the babies happened as a result of the destruction.

The story develops under the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in which both the fathers are unwilling to accept the condition while their mothers are friendly at the idea of getting close to their real children. As both the boys befriend each other, their families have to evaluate their own beliefs and confrontation to their neighboring culture prior to getting connected with their real identities.
The film was critically accepted and audiences loved the story line. The film was also quite a success at the box office. The performances were also highly praised.
