End of Watch (2012)

End of Watch is a 2012 American drama thriller. The film is written and directed by David Ayer. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena as Los Angeles Police depart officers who work in South Central Los Angeles. It was released in the US in 7th December, 2012.

                                  

The film is from the same writer of Training Day, End of Watch is an enthralling action thriller that puts viewers at the middle of the hunt like never before. Michael Peña and Jake Gyllenhaal star as young LA police officers who discover a secret, which makes them the target of the country's most dangerous drug cartel. The action packed movie traces their ventures fight the dangerous drug mafias of Mexico running their business in the LA underworld. Throughout the entire movie the main lead characters do what they do best, that is fight crime.

                           

The movie got positive reviews from critics and reviews even called End of Watch as one of the best police movies in recent times. Jake Gyllenhaal also co-produced the movie; the film quite did well commercially. The charismatic performance of the actors was also hailed highly by critics worldwide. It is named the fourth best movie of 2012 by a renowned film critic.
