The Words (2012)

The Words is an American movie of the mystery, suspense and drama genre, released in 2012. The film has been co-directed by and co-written by Brian Klugman along with Lee Sternthal. The movie casts Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Dennis Quaid, Jeremy Irons, Ben Barnes, Olivia Wilde, Nora Arnezeder and others.

                   

The Words is a suspense drama of several layers. It follows a young writer called Rory Jansen, who lastly achieves his long sought after literary achievement after publishing her novel, which becomes the next bestselling American novel. There's only problem to the whole thing is that he did not write the novel. As his past comes back to trouble him his literary stardom continues to grow, Jansen has to meet the sharp price to be paid for stealing someone else’s work, and for keeping his successes and ambition above life's most more important issues.

                       

The movie premiered at the Sundance Festival of 2012 and was released in theatres on September 7th 2012, worldwide. The movie was not received well with critics and did not make much of mark at the box office though it earned profits.
