Laurence (Melvil Poupaud) as a teacher and author enjoy a good love relationship with his fiancée Fred (Suzanne Clement). But on the next day to his 35th birthday, he confesses to fiancée that he wants to become a woman and ask her to give support for the transformation. The film then shows the on-again and off-again relationship of the couples after the transformation.
This unusual love story is told in a beautiful way. The film brings the understanding and issues in the love after and before transformation. The film shows the difficulties of Laurence in achieving his ambition and finally he success in fulfilling the ambition. The film holds the audience in the chair for about 3 hours in the theatre.
