I Want You (2012)

I Want you is a Spanish drama film released in the year 2012. The film is directed by Fernando González Molina. The film casts Mario Casas, MaríaValverde, ClaraLago. The film is a sequel to helmer’s ‘Three Steps above Heaven,’ and this is an adaptation of a Federico Moccia novel.

                     

The film features violence, sex, motorcycles and plenty of eye catching visuals. Though the movie seems to be about a teenage rebellion, but is actually an un-conservative and no so challenging love story. Here, we see Hache returning to Spain after two years mourning the death of his best friend.

                     

He meets Gin a wild photographer, dancer and singer and starts to like her though he is still loiters near the house of his ex-love. We see him communicating sometimes with his friend’s ghost. The film is typically about teenage confusions and has a lot of melodrama to it.

The film was zeta production and a Warner brother production. It was released first in Madrid on June 28th 2012 and accepted well by audiences. The movie got mixed to positive response from critics and did well at the box office. The music and the performances were appreciated by the viewer’s overall.
