The Magic of Belle Isle (2012)

The Magic of Belle Isle is an American movie released on 2012. Rob Reiner is the director of the film whereas Salli Newman, Lori McCreary, David Valdes, Alan Greisman, and Rob Reiner are the producers of the same. The story of the film is derived from the novel of Guy Thomas. The director, Rob Reiner, and Andrew Scheinman write the screenplay of the film. Morgan Freeman, Virginia Madsen, Fred Willard, Madeline Carroll, Emma Fuhrmann, Kenan Thompson, Kevin Pollak and many more star the film.

                 

The tale of the film revolves around the character of Monte Wildhorn that is represented by Morgan freeman on the screen. Wildhorn is a novelist and an alcoholic. His addiction of alcohol has even cut down of his passion of writing to a significant extent. He hires a cabin in lakeside to spend his leisurely hours in the splendid nature and gets acquainted with Madsen, a single mother. Madsen and her daughters motivate him to return to his previous life and find his passion. 

               

Most of the part of the film was shot in the region of Greenwood Lake, New York. Although, the film does not fulfill the expectations of the box office, it is a nice one to see.
