Of Snails and Men (2012)

This story is based on an actual event of 2002 that transpired in Romania. It is an old fashioned culture clash workplace about sperm donation. It transfers the achievement back to the year 1992 when the country was still honestly unsure of what would happen after the fall of communism.

                      

Dorel Visan who is the corrupt manager of the car factory makes a deal secretly to transfer owner ship to Jean-Francois Stevenin who is a French business man who later shut downs the plant and sells the fixtures and left stock. Getting threatened with the shutdown of their small own factory, the workers decide to sell their sperm for $50 a pop in order o purchase the plant and save their jobs.

                           

The Romanian French co- production is a comedy movies pictured in a factory which is going to be transformed into snail packaging factory and the efforts of the workers to stop it from getting shut down. This movie won the special jury award as the 28th edition of Warsaw international film festival.
