Jack Reacher (2012)

Jack Reacher is an American thriller movie, released in 2012. It was originally titled ‘On shot’. The movie is based on the novel ‘One shot’ written by Lee Reacher. The film has been directed and written by Chistopher McQuarrie it stars Tom Cruise as the protagonist Jack Reacher in the lead role and other in the supporting cast.

                          

The movie starts with the city of heartland thrown in a state of terror with five people dead. The police have got their suspect only with one problem. The suspect claims he they have gotten the wrong guy. With an ex-military investigator, Jack Reacher is brought in. He recognizes the shooter as a skilled military sniper who never misses a shot. Reacher is certain that something is wrong. 

                             

He now teams up with a young and beautiful defense lawyer and moves closer to the unknown enemy pulling the strings. Reacher knows no opponents are equal, and this one has come to the heartland from hell. The only way to take the enemy down is by matching his brutality and cunning and beating him at each step.

The movie was released in December 21st in the US. The movie was a great success at the box office and received mixed to positive reviews from critics.
