Quartet (2012)

This piece of comedy work directed by Dustin Hoffman is technically described as a 2012 style which has taken lot of appreciation from viewers. The story is a charming tale of aging musicians who has lot of passion of their life filled with humor and caring for music. It offers an emotional satisfaction that strikes the fancy of aged people who changes the British indie into a breakout hit all over the globe. The leading protagonists and real life musical veterans Tom Courtenay and Maggie Smith places the stamp of fine quality on a lush looking production with an iron grip. 

                   

In the story, the director has given respectful treatment to those worldly souls who have completely dedicated their lives towards art. Hottman’s pictures the work that turn upon orchestrating and subduing competing egos. The themes and characters are satisfied in a whole way at the climatic concert. The movie is an affirmative metaphor for the community but a modest story, which touches in a light on subjects that are eventually faced by all of us. It has received a lot of appreciation from audience and received awards from London Film Festival 2012.
