Hitchcock (2012)

Hitchcock as the name suggests is about Alfred Hitchcock. It is an American biographical drama released in 2012. The movie is based on the book ‘Alfred Hitchcock and the making of Psycho’ by Stephen Rebello. The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Scarlett Johansson, Tony Collette, Helen Millen and Danny Huston in the main roles.

                          

The film is set around the time of filming of the epic horror movie ‘Psycho’, which becomes his most recognized work to date. It is centered on the relationship of Alfred Hitchcock played by Anthony Hopkins and his wife Alma Revile played by Helen Mirren. The movie deals how he persuaded the production team to conduct the movie his way and how screenplay of the movie was affected by the turn of events in his life.

                                

The movie is about the men and women who were a part of the making of this classic how their influences carved the final draft of Psycho. The movie traces his life and leaves hints for his future projects “The Birds’.
The movie did well at the box office and won several accolades with the viewers and the critics.
