Stuck in Love (2012)

This soapy drama of family dysfunction is very interesting and a favorite as it begins with a thanksgiving dinner and ends with it at the home of a successful novelist Bill Borgens. It’s been three years that his wife Erica left him and he hangs about her new residence watching the signs of trouble in her marriage to a young man. But he still arranges a place for her at the dinner table on every holiday.

His grown up children handle the divorce nearly in a bad way. His nineteen years old son Sam manages to stay away from all the disturbances and blames his mother for breaking up the family and won’t speak to her for a year. The film moves at a slow pace when rusty finally gets dream girl Kate’s attention at a party which is the best scene of the movie with one liner “ just avoid love at all costs, that’s my motto” which expresses rusty’s character perfectly.

This Stuck in Love (2012) movie offers an insight into life of a broken family with refreshing romances which are predictable in the end of the story. This movie has received lots of appreciation for its best scenes with MTV ratings.
