Black’s Game (2012)

Blacks Game is a crime investigation thriller story directed by Oskar Thor Axellson in the year 2012. Thorvaldur David, Kristjansson, Johannes Hankur, Johannesson, Damon Younger and Egill Einarsson played the lead roles in this thriller story. Skuli malmquist, Thor S.Sigurjonsson and Zik Zak film works produced this action pointed thriller movie The story reflects the raising violence in the Icelandic drug and crime scenes of the late 1990s.

                         

In the late 90’s the Icelandic law-breaking and drug scenes saw a forceful change from a comparatively tiny and sinless world into a much strong-growing and a violent natured one. The movie tells the real story behind this change through the fancied gang of pushers that gained the whole control of the underworld kingdom of Iceland. The film is inspired by the actual events happened in the neighborhood places of Iceland. The formation of several tiny frontier gangs and the drug dealing mafias that supported the growth of such troops for their future assistance is clearly depicted in the movie.

                          

The film has been nominated for several film award events like Tiger award of the year2012, Edda award, and Politiken’s audience award. It has been awarded for the best screenplay of the year, best supporting role awards.
