In Another Country is a South Korean film directed by Hong Sang-soo and stars Isabelle Huppert. The film was released in 2012 and is of the genre comedy. It was selected and filmed in Hong Kong International Film Festival in 2013.
It has the runtime of 1 hour and 28 minutes. The film has three different stories, and the protagonist of all the three is a French tourist Ann. This Korean film opens with a young student who writes three different versions of the same script to distract her from worries related to money.
All the three stories are set in the beach town of Mohang. Even the other characters of the three stories are same. In each of the three stories, there is a little change in the situation. In the first one, Ann is a famous director of films.
In the second, she is the wife of a businessman, and in the third she accompanies her professor friend to resort to get over her divorce. Throughout the film, mostly English is used by the actors. In each of the stories, the issue of infidelity is present. The film competed in Cannes Film Festival in 2012 for Palme d'Or.
